Refund & Cancellation Policy

Quick summary: 7-day no-questions-asked refund on any paid subscription. Cancel anytime — there's nothing to cancel because we don't auto-renew.

1. ₹1 / $1 download fee

The one-time download fee is non-refundable as it covers a payment-processor cost. However, if you were charged twice or charged in error, email billing@scanvio.app and we will refund the duplicate within 7 business days.

3. Cancellation

Scanvio subscriptions do not auto-renew. There is nothing for you to cancel — when your billing cycle ends, the subscription simply expires unless you manually purchase another cycle. This is intentional: we will never bill you a surprise renewal.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email billing@scanvio.app from the email address used to purchase.
  2. Include the Razorpay order_id or Stripe payment_intent ID (visible in your payment confirmation email).
  3. Optional: tell us why — feedback helps us improve.

We acknowledge within 24 hours and process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Bank settlement may take an additional 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we will almost always resolve issues directly and faster than your bank can. Unjustified chargebacks may result in your account being permanently blocked.

6. Failed payments

If a payment fails (insufficient funds, expired card, network issue), no entitlement is granted and no charge appears on your statement. If you see a pending hold that wasn't released, contact billing@scanvio.app with the transaction reference and we'll help follow up with the bank.

For India residents, billing disputes are governed by the RBI Ombudsman Scheme for Digital Transactions, 2019. Escalation contact: grievance@scanvio.app (Grievance Officer). Acknowledgement within 48 hours, resolution within 30 days.
